Pueh, a Salako village located near the coastal town of Sematan, about 120km from Kuching is made up of 14 participating homes. Salako is one of 27 ethnic groups in Sarawak and they are mostly found in Pueh enclave.
Some of the villagers are still living in the only longhouse still styanding in the kampong for the younger generations, visitors and tourist to cherish. Unlike Iban or Bidayuh longhouses which are built on high stilt, the Salako longhouse is relatively low
