2.The purpose of the mobile activation by sending an sms with the message body ON HS to 33307 is for The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and its appointed mobile marketing agency, MoAd Technologies Sdn Bhd to broadcast promotional messages about contests or activities promoted by The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and MoAd Technologies Sdn Bhd.
3.All students and children under 18 years of age are required to have parental consent and/or permission to participate in the mobile sms activation by sending an sms with the message body ON HS to 33307 via Maxis or Celcom networks.
4.Activation of ON HS to 33307 can be cancelled or stopped by sending another sms with the message body STOP
5.All sms charges are the standard by the relevant telecommunication providers/ network providers. There are no premium charges for the sms activation and communication via 33307.
6.By activating your mobile number by sending an sms with the message body of ON HS to 33307, you are deemed to have read and accepted the terms and conditions of the promotions and activities by The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and MoAd Technologies Sdn Bhd.

8.The go2homestay.com School Slogan Contest is organized by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia.
9.To participate in the contest, participants MUST enter on behalf of their school. Participants are required to fill in the form with their personal details and write a slogan titled 'go2homestay.com is the easiest way to get to know Homestay Malaysia because...' in 30 words or less.
10.Participants are then required to submit their entry by slipping it into the go2homestay School Slogan Contest box provided in their school.
11.If participants intend to participate via the forms found in the E-Siswa Magazine, they can mail their entries to:

12.Participants may also participate online by logging onto www.go2homestay.com
13.By submitting your entry, participants hereby accept, acknowledge and agree that the following rules apply to the contest, and any instructions on how to enter this contest from part of these terms and conditions.
14.The contest is open to all Malaysians & Non Malaysian secondary school students age 13 and above. Those who are NOT eligible to participate are permanent and/or temporary employees of the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and MoAd Technologies Sdn. Bhd. and their immediate family members.

1st Prize: RM 10,000 2 X Runner ups: 2D/1N Homestay Holiday Packages (50 pax per school) Individual Prizes: 1st Prize: Ipad 2nd Prize: IPod Touch (32 GB) 3rd Prize: IPod Touch (8GB)
17.The contest will end on the 30th September 2010.
18.The traveling costs (to and from) the featured Homestay venue as per the school contest prize will be borne by the school. The 2D/1N Homestay holiday package covers the usual accommodation and food costs by the featured Homestay venue operator. Additional costs incurred at the Homestay are borne by the school and/or travelers. The featured Homestay venue is a licensed and registered Homestay operator by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia (MOTOUR).
19.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia are not liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, if sustained during the journey and at the Homestay location by the winners.
20.Individual winners will be judged based on the creativity of their slogans and the Grand Prize winner shall be judged based on the school with the most entries. Final judging and decision is by the Contest Committee and Organizer and shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstances and no complaint, appeal and/or correspondence from any participants will be entertained. Winners shall be informed via email, phone and sms.
21.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia reserves its right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the go2homestay.com Contest and/or substitute or replace the prizes at any given time without any prior notice.
22.The organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia reserves its right to cancel, terminate or suspend the go2homestay.com School Slogan Contest with or without prior notice or reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the organizer and the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia shall not entitle participants to any claim or compensation for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
23.Prizes are not exchangeable and/or transferable. Failure to redeem the prizes within 3 Months of notification will result in an immediate forfeit without compensation.
24.All information will be treated as private and confidential and for internal use of The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and MoAd Technologies Sdn. Bhd.
25.Submissions of slogans for the contest are deemed as original works of the students, any infringement of copyrights or the contest submissions not originated by the participants are not the responsibility of the organizers and organizations that include the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and MoAd Technologies Sdn. Bhd. The contest committee reserves its rights to disqualify the participant if and when such infringements of copyrights may occur.
